- Maeva was incredible! Very knowledgeable, personable, entertaining! It is a smart choice to take a tour through Versailles with a guide otherwise we wouldn't have been nearly enjoyable and learned anywhere near as much.read moreread lessJennifer7/14/2019This tour was such a unique way to see not only the palace of Versailles but also to enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace and even a picnic lunch along the canal! The lunch spread was delicious and perfect for a picnic.. The thought of biking was intimidating as I'm not in the best shape but Clara our guide took us at a comfortable pace. The grounds of Versailles are so massive that I'm not sure how you'd even be able to see the gardens and the palace on foot. Clara did a great job of keeping us engaged by telling us stories all throughout the day which helped me gain a greater appreciation of Versailles.read moreread lessGizman10/07/2021Book this tour now you will not regret it! - My husband and I visited Paris this past week for our 1st wedding anniversary. We only had a few days and I thought a tour would be the best way to fit Versailles into our trip so I booked the "bike and brunch" and I am SO happy we did! This was easily our favorite experience while we were in Paris. Our tour guide, Fiona, was so sweet and knowledgeable about Versailles. We had great weather and riding the bikes was so fun. The picnic was also delicious! I will be recommending this to anyone who visits Paris and will definitely book again if we ever come back!read moreread lessCallie11/18/2022My daughters and I loved our day with Stu and Niki. They were very knowledgeable about Versailles and French history and made the learning exciting and inspiring. I especially loved hearing Stu’s live commentary inside the palace and the girls loved the wine and cheese tasting. We weren’t very experienced bike riders, so the urban riding was challenging for us. We got through some busy streets unscathed. The bike riding may be a tough experience for a novice rider on a very crowded day. One of the highlights of our trip. Ready to come back.read moreread lessDeborah9/14/2019This is a must due! - Fabulous day. Everything was perfect even though we encountered rain. Nicholas & Nic were great. The lead guide, Nicholas was very knowledgeable and his sense of humor added the perfect touch to the day. What I loved about this experience is we got to see Versailles palace, the grounds and a bit of the city of Versailles. Fantastic! Brunch was perfect. Both guides were kind and accomodating. Everything ran like clockwork. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!read moreread lessMichal3/22/2023Lola, our guide, was extraordinary! She was so friendly, made each of us feel like close friends with her and one another, and curated a near perfect experience. Versailles would be overwhelming without a guide to explain the whole arc of French history that played out to build it and the contexts of it rise and fall and restoration. The public market in town was amazing, especially on a Sunday. This was our favorite adventure in/around Paris!read moreread lessDavid10/16/2022So much fun! - Amazing experience! We had so much fun learning about the history of Versailles and the kings and queens of France. Plus it was great to really understand the scale of the grounds and explore the city and markets. An unforgettable time!read moreread lessMartha11/29/2022This tour was a total 10!
From the online booking to clear communications throughout to the creative stops along the way to our magnificent tour guide, Claudio, it was a marvelous experience.
Staff was welcoming & friendly. Bikes were easy to ride & well maintained. We loved stopping at the market to select our lunch. Etc.
The highlight, however, was Claudio! He kept us mesmerized with his superb storytelling which brought Versailles to life. From the moment we rode onto the grounds, Claudio entertained & captivated us with stories of the lives of the Kings & Queens, their families, their servants and others who influenced or were influenced by the monarchy.
What tales! What drama! What history that we didn't learn in school. Claudio is a master at starting a story in one room and making us wait with baited breathe for the rest of the story in another part of the palace, or grounds. It was such fun.
Thank you to the whole team for
